Dalry Guesthouse - Edinburgh

This place suits me perfectly, offering amenities like free wi-fi in public areas, luggage storage, and electric kettle. I remember my first stay when the staff helped me with bug spray. Highly recommend for a cozy stay! Coming back for a xmas.

It met requirements, had a really great stay for a weekend in Edinburgh. The hotel was clean, the room was fairly quiet and big size and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. There were tea/coffee and coffee-making facilities in the room, truly enjoyed that...

Even though everything was great, some of the staff were kind of rude.

The units are airy, good-sized with a shared bathroom. The staff are attentive and the location is peaceful and handy right next to a supermarket.

Room felt quite dark, with the mirror and sink located at an awkward angle by the window, limiting natural light. Breakfast could elevate itself considerably given the proximity to a grocery store with fresh bread and pastries, yet it was lacking. Some rooms had stale cigarette smells lingering in the curtains and cushions, quite off-putting for those sensitive to that.

Clean room with ample amenities, but the mattress lacked firmness and breakfast hours didn't suit an early start.

Everything felt a bit cheap and looks like it's going to need constant repairs!!! So many minor things, like not having daily refills of tea and coffee facilities, just a pantry could fix that!!! Stale cigarette smell in the room needs attention!!!

The location was convenient, with easy access to transport. Stock up on snacks before checking in, as the breakfast options are limited.

Everything was up to par.

The room was dark and the bathroom was unwelcoming, i almost needed a flashlight! I woudl ve appreciated a espresso machine too, but all i got was filter coffee. I had to wait ages for attention. I expected at least a complimentary gesture for my troubles and was thoroughly disappointed. I almost gave it a good review, but just couldn't.

I had a great stay with a lovely waterfall shower that was amazing after a long day, and the breakfast was unexpectedly good! The room was clean and cozy, though it felt a bit cramped with shared bathroom facilities.

Great value for money! The location is perfect, being only a 10-minute drive from the city center, and the bus stop is just feet away. The complimentary continental breakfast included cereals, toast, and a variety of drinks. The staff were accommodating and even allowed an early check-in.
